A few days ago we went up to Jiufen for Christy’s birthday weekend. While Jiufen was too touristy for our taste and it rained most of time there, we had a great time and the surrounding area is amazing. During our last few hours before heading back to Taipei, we were able to go for a quick hike up the Teapot Mountain Trail (無耳茶壺山登山步道) and take in some sights at the Golden Waterfall (黃金瀑布) and old Taijin mining plant. A couple of months ago we visited the same coastal area on our way to the Bitoujiao Trail (鼻頭角步道). I have a feeling this is a piece of Taiwan we will visit frequently.
All shot with the Panasonic S5 and their 24-105mm lens. Check out the map at the bottom of the post to explore these locations.
